Fernando “Bocha” Batista will not be able to lead Vinotinto in the match against Jamaica (+Conmebol)

This Saturday, June 29, Conmebol announced the suspension for a match of the Technical Director of Vinotinto, Fernando “Bocha” Batista, so he will not be able to direct the match against Jamaica, this Sunday, June 30.

Conmebol sanctioned Bocha with a financial fine and one game, after the team was late taking the field to play the second half against Mexico.

In addition, the Venezuelan Football Federation received a warning that future repeat offenses would be repeated. They must pay fifteen thousand dollars, automatically debited from television rights, participation and/or prizes, for violating articles 104 and 105 of the regulations.

Leonardo Cufré, Batista's assistant coach, will take the reins of Vinotinto, in the match against Jamaica for the last round of the group stage.
