In an unprecedented technical and operational deployment, the workers of CVG Ferrominera Orinoco managed to rehabilitate 120 meters of the main railway at kilometer 10.5 of the San Isidro mine, to overcome a complex technical problem that occurred last Sunday.

In just 48 hours, railway operations were fully restored, to ensure the flow of iron ore, key to domestic production. The work, which included alignment, leveling and repair of the railway infrastructure, was carried out in record time under demanding conditions and with outstanding technical precision.

“ Workers' commitment was essential to recover vital infrastructure for transporting ore. This is an achievement of those who promote iron production in Venezuela on a daily basis,” said a spokesman for the state company.

With this result, Ferrominera Orinoco demonstrates its capacity to respond to technical challenges, and reaffirms its role as a leader in the steel sector and its commitment to the national production chain. This work guarantees the continuity of operations and strengthens the country's economic activity.
