The Fifth Meeting of Knowledge, Sounds and Flavors: the December tradition, a path of peace, organized by the Institute of Performing and Musical Arts (IAEM), an entity attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture (MPPC), culminated in success.

In its last week, this training cycle represented a valuable opportunity for facilitators and educators who dedicated their time and effort to transmitting the forms and values of our traditions, specifically those linked to the cultural events typical of the month of December, opening an important window to learn about the songs, touches, dances and flavors that characterize these celebrations in Venezuela.

The meeting allowed for a deep immersion of workshops and exhibitions with an important participation of talents that play an important role in reaffirming traditional Venezuelan music in December, and this was demonstrated by the holding of the 2nd Choir Meeting 2025, in which prominent groups participated, such as: Choir of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Choir of the José Ángel Lamas Higher School of Music, Youth Choir of the Orfeón Libertador and the Orfeón Universitario UNEARTE, who offered the best of their repertoire Christmas for passers-by.

‎‎Los events that took place at the facilities of the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, offered vibrant spaces where talent and passion for music were manifested in every performance and song

‎‎Este space was established as an enriching experience that strengthens cultural ties between participants and the public.‎‎Cada performed piece aroused emotions and the attendees let themselves be enveloped by the harmony and passion transmitted by the Christmas choirs.

This fifth meeting of knowledge also served as a platform to publicize the tradition of San Benito through the Alma de Lara Foundation with the Sones workshop in San Benito del Jabón, in the state of Lara.
