The feature film “Ali Primera”, directed by Daniel Yegres, represents Venezuela at the 29th edition of the Florianópolis Audiovisual Mercosur International Film Festival (FAM 2025), which takes place from September 4 to 10 in the city of Florianópolis, Brazil.

The film, produced by the Great Mission Viva Venezuela, My Beloved Homeland and Humana Cine, portrays the life and legacy of the Venezuelan People's Singer, who will compete in the feature film festival, together with productions from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Paraguay.

With its aesthetic and narrative proposal, Alí Primera is part of the festival's thematic line, recognized in the Latin American circuit for its social and inclusive approach, which promotes works focused on cultural diversity, human rights and the struggles of the peoples of the region.

The FAM is considered one of the most important film festivals in the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR), not only because of its artistic program, which this year brings together more than 70 titles, but also because of its commitment to making visible the stories and realities that Latin America is experiencing.
