The city of Easter Valley, in the
Leonardo Infante municipality of Guárico state, will host the 21st International Book

under the motto “Reading humanizes”.
The “Lorenzo Rubín Zamora” House of Culture will open its doors to the public from 9:30am to 5:30pm, to welcome this regional
edition of FILVEN, where posthumous homage will be paid to the
writer, teacher and chronicler Felipe
Hernánde z, a native of Easter Valley, whose legacy in education,
history and culture spans more than four decades in the academic and cultural field of the entity.
In addition to the
regional tribute, the fair will recognize outstanding national figures such as Judith Valencia, Esteban Emilio Mosonyi, Marc de
Civrieux, Gonzalo Fragui and Juan Calzadilla, in a program that celebrates reading, books and intellectual production.
Organized by the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, through the National Book Center (CENAL) and the State Cabinet of Culture, FILVEN Guárico will offer two days of intense cultural activity with free admission for all the public.
