The Ministry of Popular Power for Culture (MINCULTURA), through the Monagas Cultural Cabinet, the National Book Center (CENAL) and the Great Viva Venezuela Mission, invited citizens to participate in the Venezuelan International Book Fair (FILVEN), Monagas chapter, to be held on March 26, 27 and 28, 2026.
Through its Instagram account, the
Ministry for Culture highlighted that the activity will take place in the
spaces of the Lotería de Oriente, starting at 9:00 in the morning, where the
public can enjoy various proposals related to the publishing world and
the promotion of reading.
Under the motto “Reading humanizes”, this book festival in
the Monagas chapter will pay homage to the writer, Grisell Rivera.
In this way, FILVEN Monagas joins
this cultural display that promotes access to books, the exchange of
knowledge and the encounter between authors and readers throughout the country.
