FILVEN will have South Africa as guest of honor

Through the social network X, the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas Poljak, highlighted that the 20th International Book Fair of Venezuela (FILVEN) begins, with the Republic of South Africa and the Delta Amacuro state as its guest country of honor.
The country's greatest literary and cultural event will take place in the city of Caracas, from Sunday, July 11th to 21st of this year, under the motto Read Transform.
Also, on this occasion, the literary festival will pay tribute to the writer Benito Yrady, to Teresa de la Parra for the centenary of the first edition of her novel Ifigenia, to the Ayacucho Library for its 50th anniversary and to the magazine Tricolor for its 75th anniversary.
During the course of the fair, it is planned to present books, forums, talks, conferences, workshops, recitals, exhibitions, among others, as well as artistic and recreational activities, such as concerts, dances, theater and cinema.
