For the first time Venezuela qualifies for the Beach Volleyball World Cup in the Women's U-18 category

Venezuelan women Valeria Moreno and Aidana Mejías made history by qualifying for the Beach Volleyball World Cup in the Women's U-18 category.

The Venezuelan women entered their names in the world cup after beating their opponents from Ecuador and advancing to the semifinals of the South American Beach Volleyball U-18 that takes place in Lima, Peru.

Moreno and Mejias are under the technical direction of Olympic coach Norisbeth Agudo.

The Creole men's duo in the category comprised of Gerardo Andrés Bordones and Sebastián Alfredo Pereira, under the technical direction of Norisbeth Agudo and Carlos Roberto Rivero Parra, also secured their presence in the World Cup.

The U-18 Beach Volleyball World Cup will be held in Doha, Qatar, from October 7 to 11, 2025.
