The Minister for Public Works, Juan José Ramírez, announced the start of construction of the Walk of Fame in the Youth and Family Park, a space located on Lecuna Avenue in Caracas that will pay tribute to prominent figures in Venezuelan baseball.

Through his Instagram account, the owner of the Public Works portfolio shared images of the works being carried out on site and explained that the project will recognize the players who marked a milestone for the national sport after their participation in the World Baseball Classic.

The initiative involves the installation of bronze statues dedicated to the honored players, with the aim of preserving their legacy and turning the space into a reference point for fans and visitors

The proposal to create a Walk of Fame in the capital was promoted by the Venezuelan granddeliga Ronald Acuña Jr. , a native of the state of La Guaira, who came up with the idea after the historic performance of the national team.

The initiative received the support of the National Executive and will become part of the attractions of the new Youth and Family Park, conceived as a space for recreation, sports and the recognition of figures who have contributed to the country's sports development.
