Foreign Trade Committee reviews policies to strengthen domestic production in Venezuela

The
Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led a meeting of the Foreign Trade Committee (COMEX)
this Thursday to evaluate
the progress of the economic policies promoted by President Nicolás Maduro
to strengthen domestic production.
Through his Telegram
channel, Rodríguez highlighted that these actions are “part of the new economic
model that prioritizes what has been done in Venezuela”, so they reviewed “import
substitution, a strategic mechanism for saving foreign exchange and the promotion
of domestic production, guaranteeing full supply and economic diversification.”
“In
national union, we are all getting ready for our economy!” , said the Vice-President.
According to official data, Venezuela has 17 consecutive quarters
of economic growth.
