The Greek Fire Brigade reported that five people were injured by forest fires near Athens, the capital of the European country.



In this regard, he specified that the fire spread at 15:00 local time in Varnavas, in the northeastern region of Attica, near Marathon.


Almost 400 firefighters, among other air and ground rescue teams, faced the flames that were generated due to the high temperatures that occurred 35 kilometers from the Greek city.
