This Wednesday, Francisco Ameliach, a fighter on February 4, 1992, thanked Captain Diosdado Cabello Rondón for keeping alive the legacy and historic struggle of Commander Hugo Chávez, 34 years after the Day of National Dignity.
“History is useful in seeking the keys to correctly interpret the present and to project strategic and tactical forms of action for the future; that is very important: strengthening the historical trust of our people and conscience,” said Ameliach.
In this regard, he called for the unity of the People based on the solution that has as its key historical moments for Venezuela. “Chávez said: Knowledge, wisdom, is what produces consciousness, what does not know is like one who does not see, that is why it is so important to realize that, to the extent that you know and know more, the reality, the circumstances where we come from and where we are, as it happens, there will be more popular awareness...”
He also recalled that the order to shoot with the People accelerated the act of carrying out February 4th, because “military youth were obliged to side with the struggles of the People, who were massacred in 1989; that's what we did and we went out to demonstrate that strength.”
In this regard, Ameliach assured that the objectives of the Homeland Plan are well defined within the framework of the Civic-Military-Police Union and People's Conscience.
In addition, he indicated that the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez is not only threatened, “it's all of Venezuela, that's why I call on the National Union so that through sovereignty we can fight the democratic battle.”
“We ask the United States (USA) to respect the integrity of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores. So let's go with our spirits up and defend Venezuela!” , he stressed.
