Freddy Bernal: Come with those who come we will win!

The governor of the state of Táchira, Freddy Bernal, asserted that “the people of Tachira, of noble men and women, are stripped of history. Come with those who come, we will win! ”.

These words were addressed in connection with the fifth anniversary of the Battle of the Bridges commemorated this Friday, February 23, on the border with Colombia.

“That day we came here not to seek a personal decoration or honor but to defend the Homeland. The battle was not from the 23rd but from days before and all that time I kept in communication with the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, who was at a distance at the front lines,” he said.

He recalled that together with the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) Diosdado Cabello, the national leadership of the red awning mobilized to the border with Colombia because “the fate of the People is the fate of their leadership and if there is a danger we will be with them, as well as in the victories we build.”
