Freddy Bernal: Today is a day to reaffirm municipal power, democracy and participation

The governor of the state of Táchira, Freddy Bernal, stressed that the 392 voting centers in the state are active for voter participation in municipal elections and the popular consultation of the Youth.

“It's working perfectly without any news and with the participation of our people. Today is a day to reaffirm municipal power, democracy and the participation of all citizens... Whoever wants a better future for their municipality and wants it safer, calmer, with prosperity and participation, will vote,” he said.

He also assessed that more than 1,640 projects by the entity's young people are being nominated for approval by the People and that “indeed, people over 15 years of age can vote in the electoral centers; today it is an unprecedented event”.

“I call the People of Táchira, with civility, with a lot of affection, to attend the electoral centers en masse, you are going to vote for the rector or the rectory of your municipality, for the closest men and women... I call on the villages in the mountains on the border in the central area and the organizations that no one should be left without voting,” said Governor Bernal.
