Fuego Patrio from the XIX National Student Sports Games arrived in Aragua

This Friday, the National Fire of the 2025 National Student Sports Games reached Maracay in the state of Aragua.

A delegation of athletes from Aragüeño took part in an emotional journey, carrying the flame through various municipalities to its final destination in Plaza Bolívar in Maracay, the epicenter of the central events.

The journey began at the La Puerta National Monument, a strategic point on the border between Guárico and Aragua, where the Aragüeña delegation, led by the vice-president of the IRDA, Edgardo Díaz, and the director of High Performance, Nelson Dávila, proudly received the torch.

The young athletes accepted the honor on behalf of the Governor of the state of Aragua, Joana Sánchez, marking the beginning of a historic journey.

El Fuego Patrio made three strategic stops that connected the community to the energy of the next games.
