The Infocentro Foundation held the discussion “Science for Life: Dialogues for Peace and Sovereignty” in the Hugo Chávez Frías auditorium of the Salvador Allende Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM).
The discussion involved workers and communities in general who came together to analyze the strategic role of technology in the comprehensive defense of the nation.
During the day, key lines of action were drawn for strengthening popular power: the expansion of training in digital skills, the consolidation of the Caracas-La Guaira corridor and the promotion of new robotics workshops for children and young people through the Scientific Seedbeds, explained the Minister of Popular Power for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, through one on her Telegram channel.
In addition, the importance of digital communication was highlighted as a trench to combat disinformation and defend the truth of Venezuela.
“Science and technology are not just technical tools, they are instruments of liberation. Faced with any challenge, the answer lies in organizing, training and appropriating knowledge to guarantee peace and the definitive sovereignty of our Homeland,” he said.
