A group of geological engineers from the Venezuelan Foundation for Seismological Research (FUNVISIS), together with the Municipal Police of Girardot and Civil Protection, carried out a technical inspection and soil analysis on the beaches of Choroní, Aragua state.

This inspection, reported by Venezolana de Televisión, assesses the stability of the terrain after the earthquakes that occurred on June 24. The inter-institutional deployment seeks to identify possible structural risks on the coast and ensure the habitability of public spaces.

The initiative has as its central purpose the protection of citizens and the stimulation of local economic activity. Through this scientific diagnosis, authorities collect accurate data on the behavior of the sandy surface and nearby cliffs.

He explains that with the preliminary results, the municipality will establish a zoning map that defines areas suitable for recreation and commerce.

This joint action strengthens prevention protocols and mitigates the parish's vulnerability to future natural events. Security agencies and scientists reiterate their commitment to the development of safe and conscious tourism in the Aragüeña region.
