Gaza: First round of polio vaccination ends

Last Thursday, the United Nations Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) announced that the first round of the polio vaccination campaign in the Gaza Strip has concluded.

Through the social network X, the United Nations (UN) agency said that hundreds of thousands of children were vaccinated, successfully achieving 90% vaccination coverage.

Likewise, Unrwa assured that they will now face another challenge: “to provide the second dose, necessary in the coming weeks”.
