Get to know the Teresa Carreño Theater program for Dance Week 2024

In order to commemorate the International Day of Dance on April 29, the Teresa Carreño Theater will join the celebration with a program that will take place from April 26 to May 5.

According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the institution will bring together nine groups representing different genres and styles in dance and will open with the participation of French creators François Chaignaud and Aymeric Hainaux, in the spaces of the Production Workshops, under the auspices of the French Embassy in Venezuela on April 26 at 7:00pm.

On May 4th and 5th at 3:00pm and 6:00pm, there will be a presentation in the same room of the TTC artistic groups: Teresa Danza Contemporanea, Teresa Danzakalle and Ubuntu Teresa Carreño, together with the National Dance Company as a guest institution on April 28, at 3:00 and 6:00 in the afternoon, in addition to the performance of the Teresa Carreño Ballet.

The Dance Week program also includes samples of the TTC training programs: Teresa Carreño Núcleo Chacao Youth Ballet and Teresa Carreño La Alameda Ballet School, as well as the National Dance School, a guest educational center, in the open spaces of the theater on April 29 at 3:00pm with free admission.
