GNB dismantled clandestine fuel production laboratory in Zulia

Members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) dismantled a clandestine laboratory dedicated to distilling crude oil in order to produce fuel by hand.

The crude oil, as reported by the newspaper Último Noticias, was taken from the oil pipeline that connects Patio Tanque de Palmarejo with Puerto Miranda, which belongs to Pdvsa and is specifically located in the Sabaneta de Palma sector, located in the Miranda municipality, Zulia.

According to preliminary investigations, the fuel produced was used by criminal groups operating in the area.

Military personnel are continuing appropriate investigations to find those involved in this atypical case.
