Gobernador Terán: High Technology Center in La Guaira reactivates services after rehabilitation

The High Technology Center (CAT) of March 10, located in the Carlos Soublette parish of the state of La Guaira, is fully operational after the completion of the rehabilitation work carried out after the earthquake of last June 24, said the governor of the entity, José Alejandro Terán.
During an inspection of the facilities, Terán explained that the CAT had been classified with a yellow label by the Presidential Commission on Habitability after the earthquake. However, after structural and corrective interventions carried out by health teams, Public Works and the Government, the infrastructure was once again certified with a green label.
“He is now ready to provide service, fully rehabilitated. All its walls have been recovered and there is no longer any danger to habitability or to the personnel who work here,” he said.
On his account on the social network Instagram, he highlighted that “thanks to the leadership of President Delcy Rodríguez and the coordinated work with Minister Carlos Alvarado, we returned operation to this key center that guarantees essential services for our people such as echosonograms, mammograms, tomography and magnetic resonance imaging”.
“In the case of the tomograph and the resonator, we manage their prompt start-up. We ask God to continue to enlighten us to guarantee health as a fundamental human right in every corner of La Guaira,” he said.
Terán explained that the work included the recovery of masonry, repair of affected areas and adaptation of internal services, allowing the restoration of safety conditions for workers and users.
He added that these actions are part of a comprehensive plan that also includes advances in the Macuto Maternity Hospital, the Peripheral Hospital of Pariata, the Eudoro González Hospital in Carayaca and various health centers in the entity, with the objective of ensuring safe, modern and fully operational facilities for the care of the population.
