The government of the state of Anzoátegui delivered 90 electronic packages and 40 computers to three key educational institutions in the northern part of the state.

This initiative, which is part of the Small Engineers Agenda project, linked to the National Scientific Seed Program, seeks to strengthen the skills of young people in strategic areas such as engineering, robotics and technology, according to the national press.

The endowment was provided by Governor Luis José Marcano, who stressed that it directly benefits more than 2,700 students from the Juan Manuel Cajigal New Generation Educational Complex and José Antonio Anzoátegui Educational Complex in Barcelona; and, in Puerto La Cruz, the Robinsoniana Simón Rodríguez Industrial Technical School.

The deployment is the result of an articulated effort between the Ministry for Science and Technology, the regional government and Fundacite, with the support of the single authority for Education, Adriana Sandonato, and the head of the Innovation Office, Daniel Cano.

During the activity, Governor Marcano instructed the immediate conditioning of the classrooms at the Technical School of the Sotillo municipality. In this space, 765 students from 1st to 5th year of high school will be able to develop practical projects, expanding their interest in applied science and innovation.
