Government of Anzoátegui rehabilitates Julián Temístocle Maza library in Barcelona

The government of the state of Anzoátegui rehabilitated the central library of Barcelona, which honors the Anzoatiguense educator Julián Temístocles Maza.
The infrastructure improvements, located in the historic center of the capital city of Anzoátegui, consisted of the restoration of walls, floor, electrical system, drains, sanitary areas, roof, general cleaning and debris removal, in addition to the ornamentation. Governor Luis José Marcano specified that the renovated spaces, spaces that hold more than 25,000 titles and more than 92,000 volumes of books, and with a capacity to accommodate 350 readers simultaneously, reported a press release from the regional government.
Marcano recalled that the rehabilitation of the library is part of the plan to recover the historic center of the capital city, which he has been carrying out for several years, and with the construction of the large Libertadores Square, which he described as the most symbolic element in terms of investment and infrastructure, areas close to the square, such as the library, are now being serviced.
