Government of Aragua appoints illustrious sons to World Baseball Classic players born in that land

This Thursday, the government of the state of Aragua made official the status of “ Illustrious Sons”, to seven players born in that land who participated in the World Baseball Classic. These are Miguel Cabrera, Juan Graterol, Eduard Bazardo, Carlos Guzmán, Christian Suárez, Ezequiel Tovar and Javier Sanoja.
The provision was published in the Official Gazette of the State of Aragua, through Decree No. 8399.Last night, the people of Aragüeño gathered at El Ejercito Las Ballenas Park to celebrate, with an extraordinary concert, the triumph of the Venezuelan national team as the new champions of the World Baseball Classic.
