Government of Aragua inaugurates spaces at the Institute of Senology

The governor of the state of Aragua Karina Carpio inaugurated spaces for patient care in the facilities of the entity's Senology Institute (ISENA), which will serve around 24,000 women per year, with these services for the prevention and diagnosis of breast cancer.
The new areas are a clinical laboratory and a bone densitometry unit, which have high-tech equipment with great response capacity, to care for women affected by this pathology, where early diagnosis plays a fundamental role.
“This pathology has no age and has no sex and these doors will always be open to those who need their services and now with these two new spaces that strengthen monitoring, preventive and diagnostic aspects of women,” said the Governor.
Asimismo, explained that, currently, ISENA serves
about 8,000 people monthly, demonstrating its capacity to
continue growing and expanding its services by offering consultations and
exams from Monday to Friday, with state-of-the-art blood chemistry equipment, a regional
press release reported.
