In a joint effort between various institutions of the Bolivarian Government of Aragua, the second day of the 2024 Plantaton was held, with the planting of a thousand trees of different native species in Henri Pittier Park with the objective of recovering the park's ecosystem affected by forest fires.

The day took place in Henri Pittier Park and was led by Governor Karina Carpio, who stressed that the Plantatón initiative not only seeks to restore areas affected by fires, but also to awaken awareness among the population about the importance of protecting the environment, calling on Aragüeans to join the reforestation actions, a regional press release reported.

“It's fast, you get to the hill, you register and adopt your plant and then we're logically taking care of that plant that they give us,” said the entity's 'first civil authority.
