Government of Carabobo began rehabilitation work on the Cabrera Tunnel

The government of the state of Carabobo, through INVIALCA, began this Monday, maintenance work on the La Cabrera Tunnel, in the direction of Maracay-Valencia.

According to information published on the web portal of a well-known national daily newspaper, Wuilder Palermo, president of the institute, reported that a counterflow channel will be activated to ensure traffic on this section of the Central Regional Highway, starting at 6 in the morning.

“This channel will remain active 24 hours a day and for the duration of the above-mentioned works in that section,” he said.

In this regard, he called on drivers, carriers and users of this road artery to keep an eye on the safety and signaling device that will be activated in the La Cabrera Viaduct and Tunnel during the development of these works.

“We thank you in advance for all the collaboration you can provide to comply with these temporary provisions, which will benefit the community and the better state of the regional and national road network,” he concluded.
