Government of Congo guarantees funds to address the MPOX epidemic

The Finance Minister of the Republic of Congo , Doudou Fwamba, reported that funds between six and 10 million dollars were released to address the mpox (monkey pox) epidemic that is affecting the African country.
Fwamba highlighted that the government deployed health teams to deal with the disease while noting that they are preparing to release 49 million dollars in total to combat the virus.
For its part, the Ministry of Health announced that in the coming days the first vaccines against monkey pox will be released, while indicating that 3.5 million doses are needed to immunize inhabitants of the country's 26 news stories.
