Government of Lara deploys more than 11,000 civil servants in Easter Day 2026

A total of 11,160 officials will protect the integrity of the inhabitants and visitors of the state of Lara during the Easter 2026 operation.

This was reported by the governor of Lara, Luis Reyes Reyes, during the deployment carried out from the Antonio Herrera Gutiérrez baseball stadium in Barquisimeto. The first Larense authority indicated that the troops will be distributed throughout the region, with special attention to 60 points of tourist and religious interest, said a regional press release.

“We are deployed throughout the territory to take care of the physical integrity of our people and their assets,” said Reyes Reyes.

The operation will place special emphasis on the surveillance of trunks 1, 4, 7 and 17, under the Drive for Life road campaign, with the objective of minimizing traffic accidents.

In addition, the health sector will remain on alert with the provision of medical-surgical equipment in the main hospitals, to ensure immediate care until the device is closed, scheduled for April 6.
