This weekend, the mayor's office of the San Felipe municipality in Yaracuy, handed over 25 bicycles to the San Felipe El Fuerte Commune, financed through a winning project in the second National Popular Consultation 2025.

According to local press reports, the initiative seeks to strengthen security in 14 communities of the benefited communal circuit, in a coordinated action between the People's Power and the different levels of government.

The official act of delivery and activation of the brigade took place in the emblematic José Antonio Páez Square, a space adjacent to the Regional Police Command that served as a stage to formalize this progress. The event was attended and supported by the mayor of the San Felipe municipality, Rogger Daza, who was accompanied by senior officials from the Bolivarian National Police and the commander-in-chief of the 171 emergency service in Yaracuy state.

The creation of this brigade is not an isolated event, but is intrinsically linked to the third of the seven transformations (7T) promoted by President Nicolás Maduro, which focuses on peace, security and the territorial integrity of the nation.
