Government of Yaracuy reinforces security in the state during Christmas holidays

The governor of the state of Yaracuy, Julio León, announced this Tuesday, December 3rd, that during the celebration of the December holidays, the different public security plans will be reinforced in the 14 municipalities of the entity.

In the account of the Government of Yaracuy, on the social network Instagram, he reported that in the most recent security cabinet held this Monday, December 02, different security indicators were evaluated to implement the necessary measures in order to maintain citizen peace.

He stressed that, according to data recorded by the Venezuelan Security Observatory, Yaracuy ranks as the fourth safest state in the country, a position that is expected to be maintained and improved in the coming weeks.

“At this expanded security meeting, we evaluated the incidents of nine crimes, including theft, robbery, homicide and kidnapping, which allowed us to specify the effectiveness in terms of police action, prevention and protection that has been carried out in the region to guarantee peace,” he said.

León indicated that among the measures to be taken, the strengthening of patrols on the Cimarrón Andresote Highway, Troncal 11 and Local 3, with the support of the Yaracuy Police, stands out. This includes motorized patrolling, provided thanks to the recovery and modernization of the vehicle fleet.

In addition, there will be a greater security presence in communities, which will be complemented by constant day and night operations.

On the other hand, León indicated that the social intelligence network will be strengthened in municipalities, to ensure direct and immediate communication between communities and state security forces.

“We are reactivating social intelligence through different service mechanisms such as 0800-YARACUY and the 171 telephone service system, to manage information or alerts that appear in the territory and immediately face any criminal focus or act of social destabilization that may arise. The goal is to guarantee tranquility and citizen peace for all,” he stressed.

He also highlighted that the security plan is reinforced by the articulation of all national, regional and municipal institutions and the People's Power.

In this regard, he commented that the Bolivarian Government is increasing defense in security areas, as instructed by President Nicolás Maduro, after activating Operation “Bolivarian Shield”.
