Government of Zulia guarantees security in more than 140 temples during Major Week

Through the deployment of officials from the different security forces, the Government of the state of Zulia will be responsible for security and protection in the more than 140 churches located in the entity during Holy Week.

The highest regional authority stressed that the reservation will extend throughout Zulian geography, encompassing the different ecclesiastical jurisdictions that live in the state, allowing the people to express their devotion in an environment of tranquility and police support, the local press said.

“There are more than 140 temples that will be active this Palm Sunday, which you know is massive, and then what will be the Easter Triduum: Thursday, Friday and Saturday with the Easter Vigil, which is also massive. So we have established this coordination with the Catholic Church and it will be consolidated in the next few hours,” said the governor.
