The Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting this Friday with the governor of the state of Cojedes, Alberto Galíndez, the only leader of the democratic opposition who won the last regional elections held in the country.

The meeting, held on instructions from President Nicolás Maduro, was also attended by the mayors of the 9 municipalities of Cojedeño, with whom Rodríguez reviewed the projects of the Federal Governing Council and those linked to the Plan of the Seven Transformations (7T).

“We also received a statement expressing their rejection of criminal sanctions and threats of foreign intervention. A document that demonstrates the spirit of national unity that prevails in the defense of Venezuela against any attempt at imperial interference,” said the official on her Telegram channel.

In this regard, he stressed that “above any difference, we prioritize development, peace and defense of our Homeland!”.
