Governor Freddy Bernal: Nothing and no one will disturb the peace in Táchira

The governor of the state, Freddy Bernal, reported that intelligence agencies intercepted calls of violence from outside for January 5, 2025.

During his 200th Bernal Report program, he assured that nothing and no one will disturb peace in the state of Táchira.

At the end of the aforementioned communication space, in statements to the media, Bernal explained that “a series of calls were intercepted, thanks to the electronic protection mechanisms that our security forces have to guarantee peace and tranquility to the people of Tachirense”.

He stressed that the calls were made from outside to individuals located in Táchira, asking them to activate a violent plan by the commandos.

He pointed out that the calls show that this plan would start on January 5 of next year, to carry out violent actions that generate a climate of anxiety on the 10th of the same month.

In this regard, Bernal emphasized that he is ready “as of today, I'm not going to be taken by surprise”.

“They will not generate violence or disturb peace and tranquility, that's why I tell the commandos, the fascists and those who don't admit that Táchira has changed for the better, that I have everything coordinated in the Western Penitentiary Center (CPO) in Santa Ana, with three meals a day and orange clothing, for those who want to go to that place,” he emphasized.
