This Thursday, March 26, in the state of Zulia, the seventh International Petroleum, Industry and Trade Expo was inaugurated, bringing together more than 140 companies, entrepreneurs and public and private initiatives from Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama and Mexico, in order to promote the exchange of science, technology and new markets under the support of Petroleos de América.

In this regard, the governor of the entity, Luis Caldera, stressed that Zulia becomes the epicenter of the meeting of oil, industry and commerce, which opens a window for the exchange of Science, Technology and Innovation; market opportunities, exchange of knowledge, but above all a position of global reality on the importance of hydrocarbons.

He also stressed that this event demonstrates dialogue, respect, coexistence and economic prosperity, within the framework of the new diplomatic phase that the Republic is experiencing with the Peoples and Governments of the world.

“Thanks to the policy that our president in charge Delcy Rodríguez has been developing, which she has taken to the National Assembly, such as the partial reform of the Hydrocarbons Law, which is already in force and which provides a window for international, national, regional and local investment exchange,” said Caldera.

In addition, he highlighted the importance of the Tax Harmonization Act to avoid double taxation.
