The governor of the state of Apure, Wilmer Rodríguez, stressed this Saturday that the people of the entity will not be left behind in the defense of the Homeland in the face of threats from United States (US) imperialism.
“Venezuela needs us and when the Fatherland calls, well, we people from Apurea are not going to be left behind. We still have warrior blood. We still have black blood first,” said the regional president along with the people who came to the barracks, responding to the call of President Nicolás Maduro.
He stressed that the people of Apurea “will always be ready to defend our territory, we will always be willing to defend peace. And how do we defend peace? With the call made to us by our president Nicolás Maduro.”
Rodríguez emphasized that the People are moving from an unarmed struggle to an armed struggle. “We are going to defend the Homeland wherever, however and whenever,” he stressed.
