Governor of Aragua: Construction of the Ocumare de la Costa pier is 95% complete

The governor of the state of Aragua, Karina Carpio, reported that the construction of the pier in Ocumare de la Costa was 95% complete.

“The materialization of this dream will definitely change the life of the entire coastal axis. It is a manifestation of responsibility on the part of regional and national authorities from an economic and tourist point of view,” said Carpio.

In this regard, Carpio announced that the work will be inaugurated in the coming days.

For his part, the representative of the National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA), captain of the ship Rosmil Infante, emphasized the importance of the project.

“ This is a very important project where all the support is expected to be provided, since it will be a great benefit for both the state of Aragua and Carabobo through a waterway that links both states,” he said.

With these advances, Ocumare de la Costa is positioning itself as an attractive destination that promises to improve the quality of local life and promote tourism throughout the region. The inauguration of the pier will mark the beginning of a new era for this Venezuelan coastal corner, according to a press release from the Government of Aragua.
