Governor of Lara: Today the People speak again with their vote!

This Sunday, July 27, the Governor of the state of Lara, Luis Reyes Reyes, reaffirmed that in the electoral process for the election of mayors and councilors, “the wise and courageous people speak again with their votes.”

Also, after exercising their right to vote, at the La Carucieña Center for Citizen Participation, located in the west of Barquisimeto, he reaffirmed the importance of this day as an expression of the popular will and reiterated his call to the people of Larense to participate massively in this civic exercise.

He reaffirmed that “the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez lives on in every act of popular sovereignty.” At the same time, he recalled that there is a chance until six in the afternoon to exercise the right to vote in authorized electoral centers.

“The people have the opportunity and the duty to choose the authorities of their choice for mayors, municipal councils and also in reference to the communal projects proposed by the youth,” he said.
