Governor Reyes Reyes: The Venezuelan People Continue to Demonstrate Their Commitment to Peace

The governor of the state of Lara, Luis Reyes Reyes, affirmed that Venezuela is a peaceful, dignified country and the Venezuelan people have demonstrated their commitment to peace, sovereignty and social justice.

During the meeting of the Communes and Communal Councils in preparation for the defense of the Homeland, from Barquisimeto, the Governor confirmed that Venezuela, as a sovereign nation, will always maintain its peaceful vocation, even in the face of those who insist on confrontation.

He also asserted that Venezuela is a country that wants to maintain friendly relations with all countries in the world. “We are a decent people and dignity leads us to have relationships based on respect,” he said.

“If only it were possible for all countries to learn to respect each other,” he added.
