The governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, said this Sunday that the electoral simulation for the presidential elections of July 28 has exceeded expectations due to the mobilization seen in the electoral centers in the state.

“We have exceeded the expectations we had: the great mobilization, the people who kind of believe that the elections are today. The early mobilization, the overwhelming hope in the streets of the state of La Guaira, is impressive,” said Terán, quoted by the state government press.

Accompanied by the deputy Nicolás Maduro Guerra and the mayor of the Vargas municipality, José Manuel Suárez Maldonado, the regional president reported that no news was reported in the 32 authorized electoral centers in La Guaira, where 81 voting machines were installed. He stated that as of 7:30 in the morning, 100% of the electoral machines were already working.

“I think that the great mobilization has to do with the trust that the people of La Guaira have in the institutions of the Venezuelan State, mainly in the referee of this process, the National Electoral Council l. Everything that has to do with the organization of Plan República has flowed in an extraordinary way,” he said.
