GRULAC held a meeting with senior officials of the Indian Foreign Ministry

The head of the Venezuelan Diplomatic Mission in the city of New Delhi, Capaya Rodríguez, transmitted to the Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India, Jaideep Mazumdar, a message of fraternity from the Bolivarian Government, in which she emphasized that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro was the clear winner in the elections held on July 28.
During the meeting, Ambassador Rodríguez also expressed to the members of the Regional Group for Latin America and the Caribbean (GRULAC) that the Venezuelan Government is fully willing to maintain relations of friendship and cooperation with all nations of the world, always within a framework of respect and productive dialogue for both parties.
The ambassador of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay and coordinator of GRULAC, Alberto Guani, welcomed the senior officials of the Indian Foreign Ministry, to whom he conveyed the interest of Latin American and Caribbean nations in strengthening relations with the Asian nation in the political, commercial, cultural, educational, scientific and any other fields considered relevant to mutual progress.
He assured them of the maximum collaboration of Latin American and Caribbean diplomatic missions to any initiative or project that tends to further develop ties between India and the countries that make up GRULAC.
For his part, Secretary Mazumdar returned the words of the group's Coordinator, to whom he expressed his total willingness, as well as the team in charge, to meet the requirements and listen to the comments or proposals that Latin American and Caribbean countries may submit to the Indian Government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
