Grupo RT in the face of US accusations: We're running out of popcorn waiting to see what else they can think of

The director of the RT group, Margarita Simonián, responded sarcastically to the accusation made this Friday by the Secretary of State of the United States, Antony Blinken, who said that the international television network supposedly has links with Russian intelligence services.

“We are running out of popcorn to devour while we see what else the US Government can think of,” the director of the RT group wrote in response from her Telegram channel, which was published on the media's website.

According to Blinken, “within RT and through social media channels” it supposedly helps to “provide military support and equipment to Russian military units in Ukraine. This includes sniper rifles, suppressors, bulletproof vests, night vision equipment, drones, radio equipment, personal weapon locations, diesel generators. Although the crowdfunding campaign is out in the open, what is hidden is that this program is managed by RT managers.”

Given this, Margarita Simonián, quoted by the RT page, described the accusations made by the US government as “idiots”, since they claim that RT helps Russian military troops. Do we send them a list of how much we bought and shipped? We publish that regularly, just in case,” he added.
