This Wednesday, April 29, the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that today all of Venezuela united raises its voice to demand that sanctions and the blockade against the Homeland cease.

“The whole of Venezuela today shouts that sanctions end, that the blockade be ended and that they let Venezuela fly in peace, calm, fly with full force,” said Cabello during the Pilgrimage for a Venezuela free of sanctions in Guárico.

He emphasized that the demand that sanctions be lifted is so that the country can continue to move forward. “That if we need to sell our oil we can sell it anywhere, that if we need to sell our gold we can sell it, the gas, if we need to sell our agricultural production, sell it, that if we need a tractor we can buy it anywhere in the world, that if we need medicines we can go buy them and sell them to us,” he said.

He also recognized the people who have resisted the blockade and sanctions. “This people decided to resist, not lying in a chinchorro, not lying in an armchair, this people decided to resist working and reinventing themselves,” he said.

In addition, he recalled that the sanctions against the country were requested by “the bad sons and daughters of the Fatherland, who went around the world to ask for them; and today they still say that Venezuela must continue to be sanctioned,” he questioned.
