GUÁRICO-SAN JUAN DE LOS MORROS/Cabello: Sanctions have been a cruelty against the people

The sectoral vice-president of Public Security Policy and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, from San Juan de los Morros, Guárico state, assured that the sanctions have been a cruelty against the Venezuelan people.

Regarding the Great Pilgrimage for a Venezuela Free of Sanctions and in Peace, he explained that the application of the sanctions did not affect only the representatives of the National Executive, but the People in general; therefore, “it is a national consensus to consider that they have been a cruelty against the People”

In that regard, he recalled that, as a result of the sanctions, Venezuela had to resort to “smuggling” in order to import vaccines against Covid-19; “one says it with some shame, but also with great satisfaction (...), the shame is to use the term smuggling, but the satisfaction is that all Venezuelans got their vaccine”.

He also specified that the Bolivarian Government did not set political conditions to vaccinate the population.
