As part of the National Pilgrimage for a Venezuela free of sanctions, the governor of Guárico, Donald Donaire recognized the maturity that the state's opposition sector is showing, because despite ideological differences they are demonstrating their patriotism.

“We have come together to demand the liberation, the cessation of sanctions and the blockade against Venezuela. We want to live in peace, we have had too many restrictions for more than 10 years,” said Donaire during a meeting with all sectors of the entity, in San Juan de los Morros.

The governor praised the tireless work of producers, farmers, the livestock and agro-industrial sector, as well as the commitment of the health sector, the university sector and youth.

The regional president emphasized that financial and administrative restrictions do not discriminate against political color, religion, or social class, “it affects everyone equally, those who build the Santamaría every day, those who go out at 5 in the morning to work in the fields, producers, farmers, students.”

“The Venezuelan people want to live in peace, in tranquility and they want to continue working and producing in freedom,” he reiterated, while reaffirming his commitment to continue promoting the productive engine of the state in the hands of all the sectors that make life in the region.
