If sanctions were lifted against Venezuela, it could become the most productive country on the planet, said the governor of the state of Guárico, Donald Donaire.

During a mobilization as part of the national pilgrimage to demand the lifting of sanctions, Donaire based his statement on the fact that, last year, Venezuela was the country in the region with the highest economic growth.

“Last year, in 2025, Venezuela was the country with the highest economic growth in Latin America and the Caribbean. If we could be the fastest growing country despite sanctions, with financial and economic restrictions, without the blockade we will be the most productive country in the world,” he stressed.

In this regard, he highlighted how different political, social and religious movements have been deployed throughout the national territory, in the pilgrimage organized by the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, to demand an end to Unilateral Coercive Measures.
