Guatire will honor Our Lady of Coromoto from September 1 to 11

The devout people of Guatire honors the Virgin of Coromoto, patron saint of Venezuela, from last Monday, September 1st to September 11th, with various activities organized by the Society of Our Lady of Coromoto of the parish of Santa Cruz de Pacairigua.

The Guatireña community and the entire region is called to live days of prayer, encounter and fraternity, in the framework of the 373rd anniversary of the apparition of the Virgin of Coromoto and the 73rd anniversary of her canonical coronation.

The president of the society, Erikson Ysturiz, said that one of the most anticipated moments will be the third Coromotana Vigil, which will take place on Istúriz Boulevard, between the temple and the parish house, starting at 9:00 at night.

He stressed that it will be a night of grace, which will smell of holiness, because they will have the presence of the relics of the first Venezuelan saints: Blessed José Gregorio Hernández and Blessed Mother Carmen Rendiles, and a third relic will be received that will arrive from Barquisimeto to accompany the Marian feast.
