Guyana Esequiba: National Government delivers more than 5 thousand toys to children in communities

This Sunday, around five thousand toys were delivered in Guayana Esequiba, on the occasion of the celebration of Children's Day, the event was held for the first time in various sectors of the communities.

“We are doing this day, giving, thanks to the Ministry of Commerce and the Essequibo Social Action Foundation, to the children of our Guiana Essequiba. We give these gifts to encourage our children,” said the governor of the entity, Neil Villamizar.

The government and foundation team was present in Las Claritas, 88 kilometers, where the infants joyfully received their toys and participated in organized games and dynamics.

The event continued in El Dorado, where a festive atmosphere was observed, the infants received gifts in the indigenous communities of the Essequibo, such as San Martín de Turumbang, Aranene, Parawapary, Parawaparu and Venamo.
