Head of State: A global conscience is rising to prevent a new colonialism

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated this Tuesday the awakening of a conscience in the world against colonialism and supremacy, in the midst of the interventionist actions, threats and aggressions of the United States (USA) in Latin America and the Caribbean.

“The # Colonialist Supremacism saw us like this in the past, and it sees us the same way today. However, a global conscience is rising to prevent a new colonialism or supremacy, under any circumstances, from prevailing in our # America or in the world,” said the Head of State in a message posted on his Telegram channel.

During a press conference with national and international media, this Monday the Venezuelan president recalled the genocide of indigenous peoples in the region, more than 500 years ago, by the Spanish empire, and stressed that his heirs are currently trying to commit the same crimes.
