Head of State: Anyone who wants to come and invest in Venezuela is welcome

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, assured that Venezuela always welcomes those who want to come and invest in the country in compliance with what is established in the Law and the Constitution.

“Venezuelans rule here, oil is ours and anyone who wants to come and invest from anywhere in the world is welcome here,” he said during a press conference with international media .

He also noted that international investors, oil and gas producers do not need a license to continue producing in Venezuela. “Until when is Europe going to subordinate itself to what they rule in Washington? , here you are free. Come and produce, let's continue to produce with a license and without a license,” he said.

In addition, he specified that, in Venezuela, “the times of the Guipuzkoan Company passed 200 years ago, the times of monopoly and imperialism here passed.”

In the same way, the national president said that Venezuela's oil production continues to grow. “It's going very well, it's growing, more than the numbers that have been published,” he said.

“The economy grows and diversifies, but its backbone, which is oil, grows with a license and without a license,” he said and stressed that the goal is to increase Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth by nine points by the end of 2025.
